Every day I say that I will update this fine blog, and everyday I do not. Until today. And I would not bother reading, cause it ain't nuthin special.

I just returned from a trip to Salt Lake. A big trade show/party occured and to say the least, it was fun. A quick summary...Drive in late on Thursday go to party with free booze, DJ, and kayak videos, wake up at 6 to go to boring seminar with dorky marketing guy, go to meetings all day, after 12 hours of this and no trip back to room go out and party with 37 year old boss, watch all girl AC/DC tribute band called Hells Bells, meet dreamy girl at concert, fall in love, go to sleep, get up again at 7, meetings all day, nap, go out to dinner alone and meet the producer of Good Morning America at the bar, party with models in bikinis and consume more free drinks, go to late night rave at top of tallest building in SLC, go home, wake up at 7 for more meetings, chill out in the afternoon, go out for $150 sushi dinner on ABC tab with ABC producer from the night before, hang with dreamy girl later, decide to move to SLC, wake up, drive home alone in all-black jetta with no AC with windows down at 90 MPH, arrive home deaf.

Here I am now with my head spinning and all I have to say is, when is the next one? People in the outdoor sports industry are nuts and truly made this weekend great, free drinks, free music and entertainment, free gear. I can't complain.

My clients pay me about half as much as other designers in other industries, but there is no doubt I would rather be having this much fun than getting a fatter check. Fuck corporate bullshit jobs. I wouldn't trade this one for a thorobread clidesdale. Life is good.
